Ooberman

The latest episode (no 24) of the Uncharted Sounds podcast features a band you may not have heard of but may have heard their music, a true uncharted experience this one, its the band Ooberman.

Ooberman were formed in 1997 with an eclectic mix of sounds from bright & punchy to slower and softer described as “psychedelic folk prog pop”. They impressed Blur guitarist Graham Coxon who released their first single of his own label, And with a major label got a top 40 hit single. As always their story has many twists and turns and is a genuinely fascinating story right through to what they are doing now and theres a sneak preview of that on the episode.
